Fee’s Orbit
FOR HALF MY LIFE I have been travelling in Europe, Africa, Asia Minor and Asia. I have been so fortunate in my whole artistic life to delve into and be inspired by the beauty, the rough, wild and meditative aspects of nature.
I HAVE FELT, experienced, researched and transformed the wise words of great poets and philosophers into my own special thoughts and thereafter my art pieces. They are reverberated and reflected in objects, unique jewellery and in paintings. In other words the diary of my life.
IN MY 41 YEARS of travels, I have been blessed with many unusual names in my life time. Each new name brought forth and conjured something unexpected inside me.
THROUGH MY WORK and my transformation in this time, old knowledge was and is reborn and this permeates, expands and enriches current life issues. My unique pieces of art are a result of my own personal experience, perception and outlook on life which was bestowed on me by my travels.
In 1978 I had the fortune of taking the open, wide and long road of life and landed at first in Sri Lanka.
I spent 8 years learning life there – learnt to live anew.
I DELVED INTO the culture, the diversity of the people, the biblical tropical beauty of nature there and also into Hinduism, Buddhism und Sufism. During this time I experienced for the first time my own inner rebirth into this life.
NOWADAYS I LIVE in India most of the time in especially colourful Rajasthan in the beautiful city of Udaipur and that since 32 years.
ALL MY IDEAS for objects, unique art pieces and paintings were developed here in the great meditative peace that Mother Earth offers and this happens in my self landscaped gardens which took 24 years to complete.
THE CONCLUSION – the essence of my artistic life –
is best expressed in my new book
“The Red Thread – MATAJI – The Mother of All”.
MY EVER THEME of interest is: “FINITY – INFINITY”. One cannot exist without the other. Inspired by the great Indian poet RABINDRANATH TAGORE. Below is one of this valuable thoughts on this theme:
